Grand Massif Ski Area: Overview of the Resorts

In the heart of the Alps, between Geneva and Chamonix, the Grand Massif ski area brings together 5 ski resorts and offers you 139 slopes.

The 5 resorts in the area are:

  • Flaine

  • Les Carroz

  • Morillon

  • Samoëns

  • Sixt

The ski area delights winter sports enthusiasts of all levels with its 139 slopes (25 green, 59 blue, 44 red, 11 black) and provides access to vast terrain thanks to its 62 ski lifts.

During your stay at Les Flocons Verts, you will enjoy a preserved natural environment (40,000 hectares of forest) and breathtaking views of the Mont-Blanc mountain range.

Its exceptional geographic location and high altitude guarantee excellent snow conditions throughout the winter season.

The ski area in numbers:

  • Nordic skiing: 7 trails totaling 44 km

  • Snowshoeing: 6 trails totaling 30 km

  • Alpine skiing: 136 slopes of all levels, plus a snowpark

  • Night skiing: throughout winter, 3 times a week a slope is illuminated (torchlight descent on weekdays)

  • Number of snow cannons: 239 to ensure perfect snow coverage

-> Access to the ski lifts from the hotel (located in Les Carroz): A conveyor belt, located 80 meters from Les Flocons Verts, takes you to the gondolas that provide access to the entire Grand Massif ski area.
