Pralognan-la-Vanoise
One of the oldest villages in the Alps!
Pralognan means “distant meadow” in the local dialect. True to its name, “Pralo” is the last village of Bozel in Tarentaise, with the hamlet of Les Prioux nearby. Far from the crowds and concrete, perched at 1,400 meters above sea level and surrounded by the largest ice cap in Europe, this authentic village captivates nature lovers, mountain sports enthusiasts, and anyone in search of peace and rejuvenation.
With only 750 inhabitants, Pralognan has preserved its history and authenticity while offering all the conveniences you need for a perfect stay in Vanoise. On certain days, you can even stroll through its lively market, where local artisans and producers share their regional treasures—ideal for bringing home a taste of Savoy.
Despite its modest size, Pralognan is home to an impressive sports and leisure complex: “Le Cristal”. There, you can relax with a massage, enjoy a swim in the heated pool, try your hand at curling or bowling, or glide across the Olympic ice rink.
As a family-friendly ski resort, Pralognan boasts 24 ski slopes in winter, and in summer it becomes the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, renowned for its breathtaking hikes in a pristine natural setting.
The Hotel Le Télémark is ideally located in the heart of Pralognan’s residential district. Don’t wait any longer—book your active and rejuvenating stay today!
