Are you travelling the roads in your motorhome and can’t pass through Lescheraines without stopping at its beautiful leisure park? Globe-trotters, L’Île du Chéran has the motorhome stopover area you’re looking for!

Motorhomes are welcome at the campsite. Dear motorhome travellers, you can also choose to stay at the motorhome service area located within the leisure park.

Just 50 metres from the campsite, you’ll find a great space dedicated to motorhomes. Surrounded by nature, on the edge of the forest, near the lake, and at the foot of the mountains, it’s the perfect place to park and relax. Keep your usual comforts and equipment while enjoying the very best of the surroundings. For a very small fee, you can park at the Leisure Park, enjoy its facilities, explore the region, or simply take a break on your journey.

With space for up to 10 motorhomes, the area offers peace, quiet, and harmony with nature.

Parking is limited to a maximum of 48 hours.

Location & Pitches

The 3-star campsite of L’Île du Chéran is set in a natural haven, on the shore of a lake, at the edge of a forest and at the foot of the mountains. In this magnificent setting in the Bauges Massif, nature truly comes into its own. You can enjoy green, shaded, and spacious pitches averaging more than 80 m², ideal for setting up your tent, caravan, or motorhome.

Although L’Île du Chéran*** is clearly located right in the heart of nature, that doesn’t mean giving up comfort. Some pitches are equipped with water access and 10-amp electrical hook-ups (available for an additional charge when booking). One of the three sanitary blocks will always be close to your pitch, allowing you to make full use of their well-maintained facilities. 🌿🏕️

On a large site, the campsite has 167 pitches for campers with tents, caravans, vans, or motorhomes.

Check-in is from 2:00 p.m., and check-out must be completed before 12:00 p.m.
A maximum of 6 campers per pitch is allowed.

The sanitary blocks are equipped with hot water and toilet paper and include:

Individual shower cubicles
Baby care cubicles
Facilities for people with reduced mobility
Dishwashing sinks
Disposal points for chemical toilets

Each pitch allows parking for one vehicle only. Additional vehicles can park free of charge in the campsite’s external parking area.

On a large field at the back of the campsite, Île du Chéran also offers 17 pitches dedicated to groups.
