About Your Reservation
Can I pay for my stay using VACAF vouchers, bank checks, ANCV holiday vouchers (paper), or Chèque Connect?
Yes. For this, you need to go through the Booking Assistance Service, reachable by email at reservations.indiv@ternelia.com or by phone at 04 50 68 65 27 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings only). If you choose a “Non-cancellable, Non-refundable” (NANR) rate, you will have a 7-calendar-day period from your booking date to submit your payment to confirm your reservation.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, with an additional charge of €8 per night.
Will there be entertainment during my stay?
The hotel no longer offers entertainment programs. However, there is plenty to do in Douarnenez. The reception team is available to advise you on the best local activities: walking or cycling tours, surfing, paddleboarding, swimming, sailing, museums, villages and notable sites, bars, crêperies… More info at https://douarnenez-tourisme.com/
Are there kids’ clubs during my stay? If yes, when and for what age group?
No, there is no kids’ club at Les Résidences d’Armor.
Is daily housekeeping provided?
Housekeeping is done only at the end of your stay. If your stay is longer than 5 days, a mid-stay cleaning will be provided, but linens will not be changed.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
The hotel rooms are not equipped with air conditioning.
Do the rooms have refrigerators?
Only the cottages (“Gîtes”) have refrigerators in their kitchen areas. All other rooms do not have fridges. If you need to store medication or perishable souvenirs, the hotel can store them in a dedicated fridge managed by reception and/or the restaurant.
Will the pool be open during my stay?
The hotel’s indoor pool is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Note that during some winter months, the pool area may be closed for maintenance. Please check with reception before your stay (accueil.armor@ternelia.com).
Is access to the pool free?
Pool access is free for hotel guests. If you are not staying at the hotel, you can still use the pool for a fee of €5 (tickets sold at reception).
About Your Arrival…
From what time can we check in?
You can access your accommodation from 5:00 PM. Reception is open until 7:00 PM.
What if we arrive after reception closes?
If you arrive after 7:00 PM, reception will contact you by phone (if your number was provided at booking) to give you the access code to your room.
How do we get to the hotel from the SNCF train station?
From Quimper station, you can take bus 951 towards Douarnenez. The closest stop is Salvador Allende, located at the marina, about 1.2 km from the hotel (approximately a 15-minute walk).
You can also take TUD BUS line 1, which stops directly at the hotel. For schedules and routes, visit https://www.tudbus.bzh/.
What are the nearest parking options? Are they free?
The hotel entrance is at 36 Rue des Sables Blancs, opposite the DZ restaurant.
A private, free parking lot attached to the hotel is available for guests (no reservation possible).
If this parking is full, there is also a free public parking lot just 100 meters away on Rue du Coulinec, very close to the hotel.
Is there secure parking for motorcycles?
Yes. The hotel parking is secured with a gate that closes at night and requires a code.
Is there secure storage for bicycles?
A free and secure bike storage room is available on-site.
Can we charge an electric vehicle?
The hotel does not have electric car charging stations. However, several charging points are available in the Douarnenez commercial area, about 800 meters from the hotel.
What is my room like? What amenities does it have, and where is it located in the hotel (floor, view)?
When booking, you selected a room type whose description was provided at purchase. This description is also available on the hotel website under the “Rooms” section. The floor and view of your room are never guaranteed, but you can share your preferences during booking and the hotel will do its best to accommodate you. Only accessible (PMR) rooms come with guaranteed specifications.
Are bed linens and towels provided?
Bed linens are provided and beds will be made upon your arrival. Towels (both small and large) are also provided.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast buffet is served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
What are the lunch and dinner times?
The restaurant is open for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and for dinner from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
About Your Departure…
What is the latest time to check out?
Accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 AM at the latest.
If you need to leave before reception opens, please check out the day before to notify reception. They will settle any extras and tell you where to leave your keys (in the key drop box).
