Day 1: Arrival

Have lunch at Le Pré du Lac and set off in the afternoon to explore Annecy and its old town, just 12 km from the hotel!
You’ll be charmed by Annecy’s medieval architecture framed by stunning alpine lake and mountain scenery. The historic center is full of canals fed by the Thiou river, which earned Annecy the nickname “Venice of the Alps.”

Day 3: Yvoire – Thonon – Evian: 220 km
Ready? Go! Head to the medieval town of Yvoire, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France! Keep your eyes and ears open to explore every corner of the quaint streets and hear fascinating anecdotes.
After a good lunch at the restaurant, spend the afternoon touring the “Route du Léman” with visits to Ripaille Castle and the town of Evian.
Back at Le Pré du Lac, savor your dinner and enjoy a lively evening before resting.
Day 4: Semnoz – Aix-les-Bains: 190 km
Fuel up with a “champion’s breakfast” for a day of energy, because today you’ll climb the Semnoz plateau, peaking at 1699m! At the summit, discover alpine pastures and enjoy a breathtaking 360° panorama of the surrounding mountains.
Back in Annecy, visit the Basilica of the Visitation, a majestic building perched above the city offering beautiful views over the rooftops.
After lunch at Le Pré du Lac, head to Aix-les-Bains and explore this spa town, its casino, and grand hotels.
Return to Le Pré du Lac for dinner and a lively evening before heading to your cozy bed.
Day 5: Sevrier & Chambéry: 190 km
What if you could travel back in time? Discover Savoy’s traditional costumes and their history at the Savoyard Costume Ecomuseum!
Have lunch at Le Pré du Lac and then set off to Chambéry, the capital of Savoie! Take the city’s small tourist train to explore the cobbled streets of “Chambé.”

Day 6: Chamonix – Mont-Blanc: 220 km
How about a great day in Chamonix, the mountaineering capital? Have lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, take the highest cable car in Europe with the Montenvers rack railway and begin your ascent to the Mer de Glace glacier!
Return to Le Pré du Lac for dinner and an entertaining evening before bedtime.
Day 7: Bauges – Lovagny: 90 km
Visit the cheese dairy of Aillon le Jeune and discover how the famous Tome des Bauges cheese is made. Curious and gourmet palates can of course taste it!
After a good lunch at Le Pré du Lac, lace up your hiking boots to explore the Gorges du Fier, a natural wonder formed by a canyon carved into the rock.
