Discovery class by the shores of Lake Annecy

Sailing class, discovery class

Le Pré du Lac can accommodate up to 120 primary school children (about 4 classes of 25 students each) for school trips in Saint-Jorioz, right on the shores of Lake Annecy (just 400m away) and only 12km from the old town. The perfect location to learn to sail on the lake’s blue waters and discover the heritage of Annecy’s historic center.

The Pré du Lac consists of several buildings renovated in 2017, spread over a 5-hectare wooded park. The main building, shaped like the prow of a boat, features a large panoramic dining room where children can delight in balanced and comforting Savoyard dishes with full board service.

During their stay, children are accommodated in “Le Parmelan,” a Savoyard-style building named after the nearby mountain. It has 56 rooms over two floors, with supervisors lodging at each end of the corridors to monitor comings and goings if needed.

The wooded park also offers playground equipment for the children’s free time: swings, slides, a playhouse… as well as a tennis court and a multi-sport City-Stade (basketball, volleyball, football). In summer, children can even swim in the outdoor pool under teacher supervision.

Annecy and its surroundings offer a wealth of sports and cultural activities for children: climbing, hiking, cycling/Mountain biking, snowshoeing, horseback riding, visits to history museums or artisan cheese and fabric workshops… There’s so much to discover!
