Annecy, the Venice of the Alps, Sparkles for Christmas

Each winter, Annecy transforms into a fairytale setting. Wrapped in festive shades of red, white, gold, and silver, the city puts on its finest attire to celebrate the holiday season in a magical and joyful atmosphere.

From late November to early January, the Noël des Alpes brings the city and its surroundings to life. On the program: 150 wooden chalets showcasing local artisans and their creations, more than 120 festive events, and a magical ambiance that extends across six nearby communes.

Where to find the Christmas spirit?

  • In Annecy: Quai Vicenza, around the churches of Saint-François and Saint-Maurice, the City Hall Esplanade, the Square of the Martyrs (with Santa’s Village), Courier mall, and Place François-de-Menthon.

  • In the surrounding towns:
    Annecy-le-Vieux (Rue Centrale), Cran-Gevrier (Place Chorus), Meythet (City Hall), Pringy (Mas des Jacobins), and Seynod (ice rink on the Town Hall square).
